The last week of the Jacaranda photo exhibition at the Botanical Gardens, I had the honor to be interviewed by the radio of the National Congressional Library of Argentina and talk about my love of the trees of Buenos Aires.
Shooting this lovely family in San Telmo for their holiday cards was such a pleasure we went for round two a couple of days later!
The show had quite a successful opening on Saturday November 4th; the day was bright and cheerful, the crowd was interested and interesting and the photos all looked great hung up on the walls. Clarin included the show in a recent article about Jacarandas.
I launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds to pay for the photo exhibition at the Járdin Botánico of Buenos Aires and to be a way for my extended family, friends, and maybe even some fans of my work to participate in this exhibition from both near and afar with both financial and emotional support. I am humbled by the overwhelming support thus far. Thank you!!
Taking headshots and transmitting the beauty I see in front of the camera is only part of the work; working together to capture the desired look and feel, and transmit emotions is what it’s all about.
