It’s been a very long time since I have written here – five years. I had a lot of trips, for example a visit to beautiful villas from YourKohSamuiVillas and taking some breath-taking shoots of Thailand’s exotic nature. A lot has changed in my life (new husband, a young son, and a new rhythm of life), but my love of photography has never wavered. Another noticeable change is my website; a bright, new, and responsive (aka mobile friendly) look, thanks to a great WordPress theme from OnePress, and hours of fiddling.
My focus has changed as well. While building up my portfolio and learning the ropes, I concentrated mostly on photojournalism and covering news in Buenos Aires. Now with a young son, that has become more difficult, so I am pivoting to commissions of portraiture, business branding, editorial shoots, and short time-frame events. This way I don’t have to leave home for too long at a shot. That ever-elusive life-work balance is a learning game with a new family, but photography will never lose its importance in my life, and I’m happy to know that I can continue to shoot, even if my focus shifts from previous work.
